Lintna EdTech Bootcamp Showcases Innovation and Excellence in Education Technology
The Lintna EdTech Bootcamp themed “Accelerating EdTech Startups in Nigeria'', a dynamic program designed to nurture innovation in the Nigerian education technology sector, concluded with a high-stakes pitch day that spotlighted the top five finalists. Organized by Lintna, a leading name in the EdTech industry dedicated to empowering educators and entrepreneurs with innovative tools and resources
The bootcamp, which kicked off with an initial call for applications and selection phase, saw over 100 hopefuls vying for a spot in the program. From this pool, 20 participants were selected based on the originality and potential impact of their ideas. These participants then embarked on an intensive journey that included training sessions on product development, business modeling, and market strategy, coupled with one-on-one mentorship from industry veterans like Julius Ilori co-founder at Learners Corner, Agnes Adebiyi a Marketing and Communications Expert, Oluwaseun Kayode co-founder at Schoolinka, Omotayo Abraham, Senior Project Manager at EyeCity Africa, and Collins Gilbert Associate at Ventures Platform
Following the 2-day bootcamp, 13 selected participants engaged in a capstone project phase. Using the lessons learned from the sessions, they developed detailed business plans for their EdTech innovations. This phase provided an opportunity to apply their newly acquired knowledge in a practical context, refining their projects and preparing for the final evaluation.
The program culminated in an exhilarating pitch day, where the top five finalists, selected from the capstone project phase, presented their innovations to a panel of esteemed jury for the grand prize. The jury, composed of renowned EdTech experts and industry leaders, evaluated the pitches based on innovation, feasibility, and potential impact.
Emerging victorious was Taiwo Disu, founder of TeendIN, who captivated the judges with their innovative approach to scale an Edu-tech platform designed for building teenagers' development for the future of work.
